Committee on Finance. - Finance (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill, 1935—Money Resolution.

I move:

That for carrying into effect any Act of the present Session to charge and impose certain duties of excise, to provide for the payment of bounties on the exportation of certain exciseable goods and to amend the law relating to customs and inland revenue, including excise, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas of any bounties payable on (a) tobacco manufactured in Saorstát Eireann from leaf tobacco grown in Saorstát Eireann, (b) sugar made in Saorstát Eireann from beet grown in Saorstát Eireann, and (c) mineral hydro-carbon light oil made in Saorstát Eireann, in respect of which drawback is paid.

This Money Resolution is necessary in view of Clause 5 of the Bill under which authority is given to the Revenue Commissioners to pay certain bounties.
