Vol. 55 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Donegal Water Bailiffs' Wages.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether his attention has been called to the delay in paying the wages of water bailiffs and hatchery workers in Glenties, County Donegal; whether he is aware that the wages due in respect of January, 1935, were not paid until March, and if, having regard to the hardship inflicted on these men by the delay in paying their wages he is prepared to take steps to secure that in future they will be paid promptly.

Dr. Ryan

I find that owing to some relevant papers having been temporarily mislaid payment for the month of January to the persons referred to was not issued until 26th February: I am taking steps to ensure that this matter will have due attention in future.
