Vol. 55 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Provision of Labourers' Cottages.

Mr. P. Hogan

(Clare) asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state whether Michael Hickey, Clonmoney, Bunratty, County Clare, applied for a labourer's cottage to the Clare Board of Health; if a decision as to his right to a cottage was favourable to him, and if so why no provision is now made by the Clare Board of Health to erect a cottage in his regard.

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The answer to the second part is in the negative and accordingly the third part does not arise.

Mr. P. Hogan

(Clare) asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he can state whether a labourer's cottage was granted to Martin Earls, Boheroan, Newmarket-on-Fergus, County Clare, by the Clare Board of Health under the first scheme initiated by that Board; if he is in a position to state if this cottage is now ready for occupation and whether Martin Earls will be given the cottage for occupation, and if so, when.

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. The remaining parts of the question do not therefore arise.
