Vol. 55 No. 16

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Protection of Coastal Fisheries.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is aware that the coastal fisheries of the Free State have been and are being destroyed by foreigners, and what provision, if any, is being made by his Department to protect the territorial waters of the Free State from intrusion by poachers.

Dr. Ryan

I can assure the Deputy that everything possible is being done to enforce the provisions of the Sea Fisheries Protection Act, 1933.
