Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick Water and Sewerage Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state if the Limerick County Board of Health applied to his Department for a loan to carry out a water and sewerage scheme at Singland Road, Limerick, and, if so, if he will state whether sanction has been given for the loan for this purpose.

The Board have applied for sanction to a loan for a waterworks scheme for the Singland area. The question of a loan for a sewerage scheme for this district has not yet arisen. Sanction has not yet been given to the waterworks loan. The matter is at present before the Department of Finance.
