Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Export Bounties and Levies.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state for the year 1934 (a) the amount collected by the levy on butter, and (b) the amount paid for export bounties and subsidies, and (c) the amount paid for export bounties and subsidies in respect of agricultural commodities, separating them into the usual categories.

The amount collected in levies on butter in 1934 was £1,197,424. Particulars of the amounts paid in bounties and subsidies in that year in respect of agricultural produce and live stock have already been given by the Minister for Finance in reply to Deputy Norton on the 20th ultimo.
