I beg leave to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to define and extend the construction and operation of Section 15 of the Local Government (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923, and to make such definition and extension effective as from the enactment of the said section.

In view of the fact that we may not see this Bill for some time, perhaps the Minister would say what it proposes to do.
It proposes to make some not very important amendment with regard to the control of the Minister over the functions of local authorities. It is a minor matter.
