The total amount of Excise duty paid between the 20th May, 1934, and the 31st March, 1935, in respect of pig carcases and parts of pig carcases converted into bacon for sale was £289,441 10s. 0d. The total number of carcases (and parts) in respect of which the duty was paid was 856,733.
