Vol. 56 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Notice under Agricultural Produce Act.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether any notice was served under Section 35 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933, requiring the holders of shares in a body corporate to which the section applies to furnish the particulars referred to in that section; and, if so, whether he found it necessary to take any action; and, if so, what action arising out of the serving of such notice.

I have not served notice under Section 35 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933, on any licensed flour millers, as I have no information before me which would lead me to believe that this course was necessary.

Is the Minister satisfied that the licensed firms complied with the provisions of the legislation in that respect?

Is that information as a result of an examination or investigation made by the Minister?

As a result of the information supplied.
