Vol. 58 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Grass-Fed Beef Cattle.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state what are the estimated numbers of grass-fed beef cattle produced in each county in the Free State annually, particularly in the month of July, 1935.

Dr. Ryan

As the reply to the question is also in the form of a tabular statement, I am having the particulars circulated in the same way as the reply to Question 10.

Arising out of the Minister's reply——

The Minister's reply is not available at the moment.

It is a significant reply inasmuch as it is not available. Will the Minister say if any county produced more fat cattle than Dublin in the month of July with, perhaps, the exception of County Meath? Certainly not Tipperary, Kildare or Westmeath.

Dr. Ryan

According to the figures in my Department, they produced very many more.
