Vol. 59 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral—Answers. - Acreage in Crops.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state in respect of the years 1930 to 1935, inclusive, the acreage (stated separately) under wheat, oats, sugar beet, cabbage and flax, and if he can indicate the yield of each such crop.

I am circulating with the official Report a statement giving the required information.

The following is the statement:—

S/A/864.

†The yield per statute acre as obtained by dividing the acreage into the total produce is 13.4 tons, but it is considered that the returns of acreage are not sufficiently precise to enable the average yield per acre to be determined with accuracy.
