Vol. 59 No. 6

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take the business as on the Order Paper—Nos. 5 to 9 inclusive, No. 4 to be taken in its appropriate place; business to be interrupted at 6 p.m. in order to take Nos. 7, 8 and 9; then No. 6 to be resumed. The Dáil will adjourn at 10.30 p.m. until 3 p.m. next Wednesday.

In view of the fact that we do not seem ever to sit on Friday mornings now, has the Government any idea when it is proposed to adjourn for the Christmas Recess? If we could adjourn a week earlier by working on Friday mornings, I imagine most Deputies in the House would be glad to do so.

So would members of the Government.

Could the Vice-President inform us when it is proposed to take the Labourers Bill?

I think the Second Reading is fixed for next week.

Has the Vice-President any observation to make on the question I have put to him?

I will bear what the Deputy said in mind.
