The number of premises at present in the Register of Victualling Premises, kept under the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep Acts, 1934 and 1935, is 3,135.
The number of premises at present in the Register of Slaughtering Premises is 1,997. The registration of 333 slaughtering premises was cancelled compulsorily under Section 19 (5) of the Principal Act; in six of these cases the registration has been restored. These six premises are included in the total of 1,997.
