Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Home-Grown and Imported Apples.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he can state the quantity and value of home-grown apples marketed in the Free State from 1st July to 1st November, 1935; and the quantity and value of foreign apples imported into the Free State during the same period, and what is the average price paid for apples to the Free State producers.

Imports of raw apples into Saorstát Eireann in the four months, July 1st to October 31st, 1935, amounted to 29,736 cwt., valued at £38,093. The other information required is not available in my Department.
