asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the number of cottages erected under the Labourers Acts the ownership of which was subsequently transferred to urban or municipal authorities and the number of such cottages now vested in each urban or municipal authority.

The number of cottages erected under the Labourers Acts and subsequently transferred to municipal authorities is as follows:— 38 cottages transferred from the former Ballyshannon Rural District Council to the Bundoran Urban District Council; 25 cottages transferred from the former Cork Rural District Council to the Passage West Urban District Council; 384 cottages transferred from the former North Dublin and South Dublin Rural District Councils to the Dublin Corporation; and 142 cottages transferred from the former North Dublin Rural District Council to the Howth Urban District Council.
