Vol. 60 No. 1

Public Business. - Harbours, Docks and Piers (Charges) Bill, 1936—First Stage.

Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled An Act to amend the law relating to the charges levied in harbours, docks and piers, and for that purpose to repeal certain enactments relating to such charges.—(Minister for Industry and Commerce.)
Second Stage ordered for Wednesday, 12th February.

When is it proposed to circulate these two Bills?

The Bill that I am in charge of will be circulated to-morrow.

The Harbours, Docks and Piers (Charges) Bill will be circulated as soon as possible.

The Minister asked to have the Second Stage of the Bill taken on this day week, and the House assented to that. I take it that he will waive that in case the Bill is not circulated in time?
