Mr. Norton

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state in respect of the years 1929-30 to 1934-35 inclusive the total number of unemployment insurance books exchanged at the commencement of the year, the number of new books issued, and the number of books current and in his reply distinguish in each case between men, women, boys and girls.

A statement showing separately for men, boys, women and girls the number of unemployment insurance books exchanged the number of new books issued and the number of insurance books current in each of the insurance years 1929-30 to 1934-35 inclusive will be circulated with the Official Report.
