Vol. 60 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Drainage of River Robe.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that the Mayo County Council have agreed to comply with the requirements of the Commissioners of Public Works and have increased their contribution for the drainage of the River Robe from 29 per cent. to 34 per cent., and if he will now state when drainage operations will be commenced.

The Commissioners of Public Works were so informed on 20/1/36. The necessary documents are now being prepared for submission to the Minister for Finance for confirmation. Given such confirmation, it is intended to start the work at an early date.
