Vol. 60 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tipperary Tuberculosis Hospital Site.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware that there is grave concern in many parts of the County Tipperary as to what site is going to be selected for the new tuberculosis hospital for the South Riding; if sanction has yet been given for the site chosen and, if so, if he will state its location; what is the amount of the purchase money and when is the hospital likely to be constructed.

I am aware that there is local interest in the question referred to by the Deputy. Approval has not been given to any particular site, but the matter is at present under consideration by the Commissioner acting as the Tipperary (S.R.) Board of Health and Public Assistance. It is not possible, therefore, to reply at present to the other parts of the question.
