Vol. 61 No. 15

Committee on Finance. - Vote 20—Expenses under the Electoral Act and the Juries Act.

I move:—

Go ndeontar suim ná raghaidh thar £17,750 chun íoctha an Mhuirir a thiocfaidh chun bheith iníoctha i rith na bliana dar críoch an 31adh lá de Mhárta, 1937, chun Costaisí fén Acht Timpeal Toghacán, 1923, agus fé Acht na nGiúirithe, 1927. (Uimh. 12 de 1923 agus Uimh. 23 de 1927).

That a sum not exceeding £17,750 be granted to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1937, for Expenses under the Electoral Act, 1923 and the Juries Act, 1927. (No. 12 of 1923 and No. 23 of 1927).

There is an increase of £250 on the £17,500 estimated for the year 1935-36. The increase is largely founded upon the probable increase in the list of voters. It is very difficult to co-ordinate the two. Of course there will be extra printing arising out of the increase in the register.

Vote put and agreed to.
