Vol. 63 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Oil Refinery and Oil Companies' Employees.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state to what extent, if any, will the employees of oil companies already operating in this country be affected by the proposed establishment of an oil refinery in the Irish Free State.

It is considered by the promoters of this enterprise that the establishment of a refinery will not interfere with the business of the existing organisations which deal in the distribution of petroleum products, or entail a reduction in the staffs of these concerns.
