Vol. 63 No. 12

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Clare Estates.

Mr. Hogan

(Clare) asked the Minister for Lands if he will state if the Land Commission has yet acquired the Samson and Blake Estates near Whitegate, County Clare, and if in consideration of the congestion in that area he will expedite the distribution of these lands amongst the landless men and congests in that district.

The Land Commission have taken steps to have inspections made of the Samson and Blake Estates with a view to ascertaining the suitability of the lands comprised therein for their purposes. A note has been made to expedite proceedings as much as possible.
