Vol. 63 No. 12

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wages of Workmen in Tipperary.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware of the low rates of wages paid to sawyers and labourers employed by the Department at Dundrum, County Tipperary; and if he will take the necessary steps to have those wages increased.

The Department have at present under consideration the remuneration of the staff employed at Dundrum Sawmill, but I am not yet in a position to say what the outcome of the matter will be.
