Vol. 63 No. 12

Written Answer - Emly Sewerage Scheme

Mr. Bourke

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware that the present sewerage scheme in the town of Emly has been condemned by the medical authorities, and if he will state what steps are being taken to ensure that a sanitary system will be provided in its place.

No complaint has been received from the county medical officer of health or the district medical officer of health regarding the sewerage of Emly and as there are other more urgent sanitary works to be undertaken in the county there would not appear to be any necessity to deal with the sewerage of Emly at present.
