Vol. 63 No. 16

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Clare Water Supply.

Mr. Hogan

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will say whether a scheme has been sanctioned by his Department for the provision of a water supply at Corofin, County Clare; if a grant has been made out of Central Funds towards the scheme; if so, what is the amount of the grant, and what is the reason work is not being started to provide a long-felt want.

The reply to the first and second parts of the question is in the negative. It is understood the board of health have a scheme under consideration, but their final proposals have not yet been submitted to the Department.
