Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Widows' and Orphans' Pensions.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state (a) the number of claims for widows' pensions received to date and the number sanctioned for payment, (b) the number of claims for orphans' pensions received to date and the number sanctioned for payment, (c) the average weekly pension granted to childless widows, widows with dependents, distinguishing the amount granted according to the number of dependents and to orphans.

The reply will be published in the official report.

The following is the reply:—

(a) Number of claims for widows' pensions received to 23/10/'36
