Vol. 64 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that applications have been lodged with the Irish Land Commission by a number of applicants for parcels of land on the estate of Mrs. Constance Oliver, Stream Hill, Doneraile, County Cork; if he will state whether these lands have been inspected yet as to their suitability for division, and whether, in view of the urgent need for enlargement of the holdings of applicants, he will acquire these lands for division among congests and landless men in the district.

The lands referred to are amongst those noted for inspection with a view to ascertaining their suitability for the purposes of the Land Commission. Until a report on inspection has been received the Land Commission are not in a position to say whether or when the lands will be acquired.
