Vol. 65 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - President's Interview with Dominions Secretary

asked the President if he will state the subjects discussed at the recent interview with Mr. Malcolm MacDonald, whether any agreements were reached on any of the matters discussed, and, if so, the nature of such agreements.

As has already been publicly stated, I had a meeting with Mr. MacDonald, Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs, in London on my way through. The discussions were informal and ranged over the principal matters at issue between the two countries. It is obvious that as the meeting was informal there was no question of arriving at agreements on any of the matters discussed.
