Regulations in regard to the classification and grading of carcases at licensed premises have not been made under Section 70 of the Pigs and Bacon Act, 1935, but the Price Orders made by the Pigs Marketing Board under Section 140 of the Act provide for the classification and grading of pig carcases. The number of pigs used for the manufacture of bacon in licensed premises during the calendar year 1936 was 1,056,853.
