Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Agricultural Credit Notes.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state in respect of each county in which credit notes (Agricultural Grant) were issued, the total amount of credit notes in respect of the year 1935/36, which lapsed owing to the fact that they were not presented in due time.

The reply is in tabular form and will be published in the Official Report.

The following table shows for each county in which credit notes (Agricultural Grant) were issued in the year ended 31st March, 1936, the value of the credit notes not realised owing to the non-payment of rates within the period in which the credit notes were valid:—

The following table shows for each of the years 1932-33, 1933-34, 1934-35 and 1935-36 the total amounts of the credit notes issued by county councils which lapsed by reason of the fact that they were not duly presented in payment of rates by the appropriate dates:—
