Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - The Tariff Commission.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state when the report of the Tariff Commission on casks and barrels was submitted to the Executive Council, and when it is expected to publish the report.

The report of the Tariff Commission on the desirability of imposing a customs duty on casks and barrels, new and second-hand, and component parts thereof, other than casks, kegs and barrels for containing butter, and component parts of such containers, was submitted to the Executive Council on the 10th January, 1935. The report has been under examination by the Departments concerned, and no decision has yet been taken in regard to publication.
