Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Saving Certificates.

Mr. Hogan

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in respect of each of the years 1933, 1934, 1935 and 1936 the value of the saving certificates purchased, the amount withdrawn, and the amount outstanding at the end of each of these years.

Information in regard to sales and repayments of Savings Certificates is not readily available by reference to calendar years. The figures over the period beginning with the financial year 1932-33 are in a tabular statement which will be included in the Official Report.
