Vol. 65 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Offaly Labourers' Cottages.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state (a) the number of unmarried applicants to whom labourers' cottages were given during the last three years by the Offaly Board of Health, and (b) the number of married applicants with families exceeding three in number whose applications for cottages were not acceded to by the board in the same period.

The information asked for is not available in my Department. As indicated in reply to a question asked by the Deputy yesterday, the decisions of boards of health allocating cottages to individual tenants are not required to be referred to my Department.
