Vol. 65 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Playground in Mountjoy Square.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is now in a position to state whether the negotiations in which the Dublin City Manager was engaged a year ago, with a view to securing Mountjoy Square for a children's playground, have been concluded, and whether there is any hope that these grounds will be available for the use of poor children in the neighbourhood during the summer of this year.

I am informed that the negotiations between the Dublin Corporation and the Mountjoy Square Commissioners have not yet reached a conclusion. I cannot therefore at present express any opinion as to the latter part of the question.
