Mr. Hogan

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state the number of applications for pensions and gratuities made to him under the Connaught Rangers (Pensions) Act, 1936; and the number of (a) pensions and (b) gratuities sanctioned, refused and still under consideration.

Number of applications for pensions and gratuities received under the Connaught Rangers (Pensions) Act, 1936, 106; number of pensions sanctioned, 26; number of gratuities sanctioned, 11; number of applications for pensions still under consideration, 9; number of applications for gratuities still under consideration, 2; number of cases refused, 56.
