asked the Minister for Justice if he will state (1) how many cases for implication in illicit distilling were successfully brought up in West Cork for the three years ended 31st March, 1937; (2) what was the gross amount of the fines collected in connection with such cases; and (3) what proportion of such fines was remitted by way of reward to the Gárda who instituted the prosecutions; and (4) in how many cases was imprisonment ordered without the option of a fine.
