Vol. 69 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Housing of Working Classes (County Dublin).

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he is in a position to sanction the erection of labourers' cottages by the County Dublin Board of Health for working-class people residing all their lives within the area administered by the board, but who find it necessary to accept work outside the area of County Dublin owing to the difficulty of obtaining employment within the area.

The answer to the question is in the affirmative, provided the class of persons to whom the Deputy refers comes within the definition of "Agricultural Labourer" as defined by the Labourers Acts.
