Labourers Bill, 1937—First Stage.

Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to make further and better provision for the purchase by the tenants thereof of cottages and plots provided under the Labourers Acts, 1883 to 1936, and for that purpose to amend the Labourers Act, 1936 (No. 24 of 1936) in certain particulars.—(Deputy Norton.)
Second Stage ordered for this day week in Private Deputies' time.

The Deputy understands that Second Reading will be put down provisionally for this day week in Private Deputies' time. The motion which is being debated in Private Deputies' time takes precedence, and this Bill cannot come on until that motion has been disposed of.
