Committee on Finance. - Expiring Laws Bill, 1937—Second Stage.

I move that the Bill be now read a Second Time. In connection with this Bill a memorandum setting out——

If there is nothing new in this Bill from what was in it last year, as far as our Party is concerned we are prepared to give it a Second Reading now.

There is nothing new in it. As a matter of fact, probably about three of the measures will not appear in the Expiring Laws Bill again.
