Vol. 69 No. 6

Written Answers. - County Westmeath Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware of the fact that the Kelly estate, situated near Rochford Bridge, County Westmeath, is suitable for the relief of congestion in that area; that the owners have offered no objection towards its acquisition; and, if so, what steps he proposes to take in the matter.

Mr. Boland

The question appears to refer to the lands of Derry, Farthings-town, Rahanine and Castlelost in the occupation of Mr. James Kelly. The Land Commission have instituted inquiries to ascertain the suitability for their purposes of these lands.
