Vol. 69 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Appointment of Fermoy Timekeeper.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he has had brought to his notice the fact that in appointing a timekeeper to supervise a relief grant the Fermoy Urban Council recently passed over the name of a candidate who was registered at the labour exchange and actually in receipt of unemployment assistance, and whether he proposes to take any action in the matter.

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. I am having the matter investigated.
