Vol. 70 No. 1

Supplementary Estimates.

Leave granted to introduce the following Supplementary Estimates for the service of the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1938, namely:
Votes Nos.—
2 (Oireachtas),
6 (Office of the Revenue Commissioners),
16 (Superannuation and Retired Allowances),
17 (Rates on Government Property),
23 (Valuation and Boundary Survey),
28 (Universities and Colleges),
34 (Prisons),
39 (Public Record Office),
41 (Local Government and Public Health),
43 (Dundrum Asylum),
49 (Science and Art),
63 (Posts and Telegraphs),
66 (Army Pensions),
70 (Export Bounties and Subsidies).
—(Minister for Finance).

We shall be in a position to circulate all these Estimates this evening, and it would facilitate us if we were able to take them to-morrow. I know I am asking something from the Opposition, but if the Opposition could see their way to facilitate us in this matter, it would be a great convenience.

We have great pleasure in facilitating the Minister in any way within reason. I do not speak for the Labour Party or the Independent Labour Party.

Estimates ordered to be taken to-morrow.
