Vol. 70 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Conveyance of Ballot Boxes.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that certain debts incurred by his Department for the conveyance of ballot boxes, etc., to Dungarvan, County Waterford, on the night of the last general election have not yet been paid, and if he will have inquiries made in the matter with a view to having the accounts referred to settled without further delay.

The accounts of the expenses of the returning officer for the county constituency of Waterford in connection with the Dáil general election and plebiscite held in 1937 are at present under examination and a direction will be issued to him within the next week with a view to the discharge of all unpaid claims which are in order.
