Vol. 70 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - An Ennis Holding.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether it is proposed to allow Cornelius O'Donohue, Ballytiernan, Fountain Cross, Ennis, to avail of the provisions of the Land Acts in respect of his holding at the above address, and, if so, how soon arrangements will be made to give the necessary facilities.

An application under Section 14, Land Act, 1931, has been lodged on behalf of Cornelius O'Donohue, Ballyternan, Fountain Cross, Ennis, in respect of lands containing 19a. 0r. 15p., statute measure, which he appears to hold on the estate of W.H. McGrath under a grazing agreement. This application is under consideration, but it is not possible at present to state when the final decision in the matter will be reached.

Will the Minister expedite the consideration because this man is suffering comparatively great financial loss in respect of the delay?

Mr. Boland

I expect the decision will be given at an early date.
