Committee on Finance. - Vote 22—Stationery and Printing.

I move:—

Go ndeontar suim ná raghaidh thar £88,625 chun slánuithe na suime is gá chun íoctha an Mhuirir a thiocfaidh chun bheith iníoctha i rith na bliana dar críoch an 31adh lá de Mhárta, 1939, chun Tuarastail agus Costaisí Oifig an tSoláthair; chun Páipéarachais, Clódóireachta, Páipéir, Creamuíochta agus Leabhra Clóbhuailte i gcóir na Seirbhíse Puiblí; agus chun Ilsheirbhísí Ilghnéitheacha maraon le Tuairiscí Díospóireachtaí an Oireachtais.

That a sum not exceeding £88,625 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1939, for the Salaries and Expenses of the Stationery Office; for Stationery, Printing, Paper Binding, and Printed Books for the Public Service; and for Sundry Miscellaneous Services, including Reports of Oireachtas Debates.

Does the Minister think that those publications have been sold to the public at a reasonable price? There have been complaints.

I have not heard any complaint. No complaint has been directed to me. If the Deputy has any specific instance in mind, I shall be glad to consider it.
