Vol. 70 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Postal Deliveries.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he has received representations from the Dublin County Council, with reference to an evening delivery in Portmarnock and Baldoyle and the changing of Baldoyle Post Office to the centre of the town, as the present post office is about a mile outside Baldoyle, and if in view of the big increase in the population in Portmarnock and the development which is taking place in the area, he will accede to the request for an evening delivery, and also if he is prepared to change the post office in Baldoyle, as the present position of same is inconvenient and too far from Baldoyle.

I have received the representations referred to by the Deputy, but as enquiries are not yet complete I am not in a position to furnish him with the information he desires. I will communicate the decision to him as soon as possible.
