Vol. 70 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Home Infirmary, Clonakilty.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if an application has been received by him from the West Cork Board of Health and Public Assistance for a grant out of the Hospitals Trust Fund towards the cost of improvements to the county home infirmary, Clonakilty, and if he is prepared to accede to the request having regard to the urgency of extra accommodation required for the excess numbers in the institution.

The position has not changed since the board of public assistance were notified on the 7th August last that, having regard to the extent of the commitments of the Hospitals Trust Fund in respect of hospital works, an application for a grant from the fund could not be entertained towards the cost of proposed improvements to the infirmary of the county home, Clonakilty.
