I have no information on this matter other than what has appeared in the Press. As the Deputy will have gathered from the reply to previous questions, Cómhlucht Siúicre Eireann is not a Government Department, but a company operating under the Companies Acts. I cannot undertake to answer questions concerning its personnel, the employment and dismissal of which is a matter exclusively for the board. In the circumstances I cannot give the assurance asked for by the Deputy.
