Vol. 71 No. 2

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take items Nos. 4 and 5 on the Order Paper. Perhaps it would be well now to inform Deputies that it is not proposed to ask the Dáil to meet on Tuesday next.

May I say that if the Government is making that arrangement out of consideration for the Opposition it would be very glad to meet on Tuesday if it would assist the Government to expedite the necessary legislation to remove the tariffs from live stock.

I understood that all Parties in the House had been consulted and had agreed to the arrangement.

I certainly agree if it is convenient. If the Government wishes to expedite the matter we would be glad to expedite them.

Is the House meeting to-morrow?
