Committee on Finance. - Agreement with the United Kingdom (Capital Sum) Bill, 1938—Money Resolution.

I move:—

That it is expedient that authority be given for (a) the issue out of the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof of any sum not exceeding £10,000,000 required to be paid to give effect to any Act of the present session to provide for the carrying out of the Financial Agreement made on the 25th day of April, 1938, between the Government and the Government of the United Kingdom, and (b) the charge on the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof of the principal of and interest on all securities issued under any Act as aforesaid and the expenses incurred in connection with the issue of such securities.
